The designer heard the wrong word for this unique building
In order to show respect to the Great Mosque of Mecca and the symmetry of the building, it is common for mosques in other regions to build four towers. In Istanbul, one mosque oversteps the rules by building six minarets, and this is because the architects of the time heard the word "gold" as "six-root".
