When Christmas is near, there are 5 cities that seem to have a more festive atmosphere, so we might as well go to Santa's country to have a look.

1、Finland

Several countries in the Arctic Circle are scrambling to find out where Santa Claus' home is. But the most famous and currently more recognized Santa Claus village is in the outskirts of Rovaniemi, Finland.

Nowadays, every Christmas, Santa Claus in the village receives children from all over the world and answers their numerous and strange questions. If you're lucky, you can also see the gorgeous Aurora Borealis and spot moose in the woods.

2、Ireland

Unique customs give Christmas in Ireland a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On Christmas Eve, Irish households light candles in their windowsills to signify the welcome of Jesus to the world.

After the Christmas dinner, the Irish leave some bread and milk on the table and leave the door unlocked, a custom that symbolizes their tradition of hospitality.

3、Paris

When a city is called the "City of Light", it must do something to defend that honor. In Paris, this is especially important and evident during the Christmas season.

People from all over the world are drawn to the boulevards and shopping streets as they are outlined by lights of all shapes and sizes, and as the upscale stores bring out their elaborate Christmas decorations.

4、New York

Who can resist the lure of New York when visiting the United States at Christmas time? Beautiful Christmas decorated windows on the street, Christmas trees dressed up in the square ......

At the Union Square Holiday Bazaar in Manhattan, NY, you can chat with local artists about their crafts, share their funny stories, and find the perfect one-of-a-kind gift for a loved one!

5、New Zealand

In the sunny southern hemisphere, Christmas is a whole new level of fun.

Home to the world's largest grove of Pohutukawa Christmas trees, it's also a sanctuary for kiwi bird and other rare New Zealand bird species.
