  • Apr 03, 2025

S

Singapore in the eyes of the public is a hygienic, civilized, accommodating and modern country. Many travellers who have visited Singapore not only experience the convenient city services and authentic cuisines from various countries, but also shine with the bright and colourful face of Singapore!

The whole of Singapore is like eating rainbow candy, with parks and streets all over the place filled with colorful aesthetics.

1、Haji Lane

Haji Lane is an old street in the Kampong Glam area. A large number of local designers and young entrepreneurs have moved into Haji Lane, bringing in fashion trends, colorful graffiti and food culture, making it the earliest pop fashion and literary neighborhood in Singapore.

Artistic graffiti, 3D wall paintings, abstract sculptures and individual decorations have made this the most youthful and vibrant gathering place. Of course, there are many individual fashion stores in Hatch Lane, boutiques that specialize in selling all kinds of local Singapore style fashion accessories and items.

2、Little India

Little India is a gathering place for the Indian community in Singapore, which is like a miniature of India, so it is called Little India. Especially when some festivals come, the Indian style is more prominent. The architecture of the place is strongly colored, especially the Little India Art District.

To take good pictures of people, you have to pick good weather. In the rainy season, Singapore will have a shower every afternoon, so it is best to go in the morning. The dress code suggests that girls can prepare a colorful ethnic dress, to travel to Southeast Asian countries is very suitable, to the neighborhood of Indian temples, mosques, art districts, streets are very good attractions.

3、Kampungunan

Kampong Glam is a cultural area for Muslims with the Sultan Muslim Church as the center. The Sultan's Mosque is the most spectacular Mosque in Singapore and is very religiously dress code compliant. Therefore, men's tops must have collars and sleeves and must wear long pants; women's tops must have collars, sleeves up to the wrist and pants up to the ankle. Of course, there are also outer robes for visitors to wear.

4、Marina Bay Gardens

The Marina Bay Gardens showcases Singapore's reputation as a "Garden City" to the fullest. Whether it's the flowers during the day or the night scenery at night, it's worth a walk to see.

Flower Dom: The Guinness World Records certified "World's Largest Botanical Cold Room" with exotic flowers from every continent, Cloud Forest: A stunning indoor waterfall at the entrance, with regular sprays of water making the entire cold room cloudy. You can also climb the treetop walkway and cloud corridor to overlook the lush mountain landscape, and the hollowed-out walkway is a bit challenging!

Floral Fantasy: The garden has four different themes, with flowers changing according to the seasons, and flowers at the top and on the left and right sides. It is not a real tree, but a vertical garden made in the shape of a "tree".

The trunk of the tree is entwined with 1.58 million epiphytes, orchids, ferns and tropical climbers, making it a "tree of the world" that brings together plants from around the world!

5、Old Hill Street Police Station

Old Hill Street Police Station, now the home of the Ministry of Information and the Arts, originally housed the police station and barracks, which alone housed thousands of people.

The six-storey building with arcades and a central courtyard has a strong neoclassical style, using architectural elements that were very popular in England at the time, and is both grand and stately.

The old Jubilee Street Police Station has a total of 927 rainbow-like windows, with the first four floors having the same intensity and vibrancy of color, while the fifth and sixth floors are progressively darker, making the cantilevered terraces even more prominent, making it an eye-catching building in the colonial district.
